Foreman Greg Schneider and hooktender Terry Freiheit at the back end of a setting. Note the coil of "straw line" between them. Freiheit will soon be changing "roads," using the lighter weight straw line to move the rigging from one set of blocks (in this case, attached to stumps at the back end). The saw Schneider is holding is used to notch these "tail hold" stumps so that the straps holding the blocks don't slip when the grapple yard puts tension on the lines. Stafford Lake, June 2008.
